RIP OFF this company will take your deposit an never get what you ordered, I have many messages saved to my phone with Jordan Jones witch is the son of this company about a 2009 AT235p bucket I put 2000.00 dollar deposit down on Sept 11 an would take 30 to 45 days to go threw the truck an bucket an all the rest the claim they do. So I call Jordan on Oct 6 to ckeck status of my truck an he said it’s still being finished an sent me pics of another 2008 that had 60k more miles on it than one I ordered so told him not interested I wanted the one I ordered that had 87k miles on it an looked twice as good one they just went threw, so I started doing more research on this truck I ordered from I-80 an come to find out they used the Altec’s pic on the truck they said they where getting ready for me, that was last I herd from Jordan Jones I was passed on to there shop forman or woman as she was an she informed me that motor was now bad an it needed be replaced with Jasper motor just total BS, now this was in November an nobody would return my calls, just seen they filed bankruptcy on Dec 6 an looks like they changed Company Names if it’s in Jones hands stay away for sure total rip off. Thx Fred Mason Cable-East

BUYER BEWARE_ THE WORST , MOST DISHONEST place I have ever dealt with. They LIED to us, ripped us off, and were all around screwed.
We started looking for a box truck last fall. They sent us emails and pamphlets about how they put an average of 9K into their refurbished trucks, painted and all ready to work. For months they told us all about how they are different, and sell refurbished trucks. We bought a truck, and it was shipped to us. RUSTED AND BUSTED. It caught FIRE the first time we drive it. We called and they "sorry that truck was as-is" NO WHERE and at no time did they ever say that. ALL the info we got was the truck was ready to work, and refurbished. They tucked that little detail deep into the paperwork they gave us. SInce we got that truck we have put $2000 a month into it. The lift did not work, the brakes locked up, the clutch went out, it caught on fire, one and on. BIGGEST WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY EVER. That truck was never "ready to work" . AVOID this company.

Had a small problem with the bucket truck I just purchased, after a discussion with my sales person he made everything right and I am happy to say my bucket truck seems to be running very well. Will definitely consider them again when I am in the market. Thanks i80

Promised the world by their salesperson Jordan on a bucket truck. Three week delivery and training on the operation upon delivery. Received the truck 8 weeks later and the delivery drive had no idea how to operate the bucket- so no training. Makes you wonder how good their 3000 mile warranty is?

Great Advice

I received great advice from the staff on financing options and features/benefits that fit the work we do. They saved me a significant $$ and got me into my new vehicle much faster than I expected. Great service!

My company uses bucket trucks ...

My company uses bucket trucks as a core of its operation so it's imperative we have quality, reliable equipment that has a long service life; safety is paramount. We recently purchased a used Altec bucket truck from I-80 Equipment. We were referred to them by a friend who had a positive experience with them. They are also one of the biggest used utility truck dealers in the nation and are a short drive from my office in St. Louis.

We checked out their inventory on their website, http://www.i80equipment.… and found a few units we liked. The next day we drove to Colona and met with the salesman. Sometimes used utility truck dealers think that sales tactics for used car lots translate into the utility truck industry... that definitely was not the case with I-80. You can tell they started in this business and have been in it for a while. They weren't selling any trucks, suv's, or 5th wheel's on their lot. :)

The truck looked clean as did all of the inventory on their lot. We were taken on a quick tour of their facility and we were impressed with what they have and their future plans. We tested out all of the necessary parts and put in the order for the truck. The sales process was quick (relatively) and seamless. They have an extended warranty but we didn't jump on it.

We brought the truck back to St. Louis and it's been in service and performing as expected. No complaints on our end from I-80 Equipment or their bucket trucks. We'll absolutely be looking to them if we need any more used units. If we had to nit-pick, I'd say their website could be slightly easier to navigate.

Easily one of the best utility...

Easily one of the best utility truck dealerships in the nation. I've purchased several bucket trucks from them over the course of 5+ years and have been more than pleased with each one. I recommend I-80 Equipment to anyone looking to purchase a used utility truck. They have lots of nice reconditioned units as well. Great equipment, nice people.
