Ralph is the best. I started with another teacher, who took a scatter shot approach and I didn't learn very much. Ralph was my son's teacher and I switched and I'm glad I did. Ralph is very patient and never critical and you learn the basics from him but he's interested in helping you learn songs that you like. As I have a busy schedule and don't always have time to practice as much as I want, he's mindful of that. He is always positive and makes you want to learn more. Not only that but he's a great person to talk to: a great communicator. A better teacher you will not find.

I started lessons with Ralph about six months ago as a complete beginner and did not know what to expect. I have really learned a lot, and it's been fun. He knows how to keep it interesting and enjoyable (not stressful). Highly recommend!

Ralph is such a great guitar teacher! He really works to personalize the lessons for your specific proficiency level as well as musical tastes. I also really appreciate the time he takes to give background on musical theory as well as how different artists apply it in their songs. He is a great musician and teacher and makes learning an instrument much more enjoyable.

Since taking guitar lessons, I have really progressed as a player. Not only is my instructor friendly, funny, and insightful, he has enhanced my understanding of music in general and this has helped me with other instruments as well.

Ralph has been my daughter's guitar teacher for four years, and will be for years to come. He's patient, diligent, an outstanding musician in his own right, and an excellent teacher. He can adapt to whatever your level of proficiency (or lack thereof) and help you move to the next level, all the while learning and playing music you love. In addition to the musicianship and ability to teach, he's a quality person worth knowing.
