Provided by YP.comHey came by my house to do a free cleaning. They were very professional, never rude. At first I said no, but we really needed our carpets cleaned. Allowed them in the house. They acted with the outmost professionalism and were very aware of their product, which I did in turn buy. I don’t understand the other reviews. They were awesome and would do business with them anytime.

Provided by YP.comRude! They came to my door and offered to clean room in my house. I declined, more than once, saying I had 3 very sick children, sleeping. They continued to push and then just ran off to get their cleaning guy. Pushed their way into my house insisting on cleaning my stairs. I had to force them out of my house.

Provided by YP.comDo not do any business with any one associated with Kirby or ACT Distributor, this place is an Pyramid Scheme. The owner's husband runs the whole business. He buys the Kirby Vacuums for $ 300.00 and turns around and sell them to unsuspected customers for almost $ 3,000. This guy is the worst scumbag that has ever walked this planet. He motivates his employees by offering breakfast to whoever sales the most vacuums in a week, mind you that he only pays them $ 100.00 for the sales that they make. He keeps over $ 2,000 for himself and pays them pennies, or breakfast. Whichever is cheapest. Stay away from this place, don't pay over $ 2,000 for something that he pays $ 300.00 for. This scumbag cheats every single person that works for him. This company if you want to call it a company, they have orientation every other week because once the employees realize that it's a Pretty they hit the door running, by that time it's too late and they have made this crook over $ 2,000 a machine. They tell you amazing lies at first and some fall for it, hopefully you will read this review and stay away from these CROOKS!!!

Provided by YP.comDo not do business with this company EVER!!! Horrible business practice and morals. Not sure how they are still is business. They also ruined my kitchen table with the "sharpie" pen that was being used to write on the fabric they brought with them to demonstrate the vacuum. Never, never again!!! I am spreading the word to any and all people I know.

Provided by YP.comDO NOT LET THIS COMPANY INTO YOUR HOME FOR THEIR "FREE DEMO": My husband let the sales rep into our home for a free demo and the vacuum shredded my entry carpet. When I asked to speak with someone, I had never seen two people clean up and leave so fast. The manager has still not returned my calls. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.

Provided by YP.comThe sales rep was nice enough; however the Kirby ripped up a 2 foot long section of carpet thread in the middle of the room leaving a very obvious "cut" in the carpet. I don't know if this was a result of the kirby being too powerful, or the rep not knowing how to properly operate it. Our "free" demo has now turned into a potentially costly repair or replacement of our carpet. On top of that, from the one-side conversation the rep had with their manager I could only guess they were told to get out of the house as quickly as possible. On top of that I was given the managers name and number, but told that I would have to call the manager to try and get some sort of compensation for the damage. Also that the manager "was very busy so I might have to keep trying to call him"! First off, in what world does even half-way decent customer service mean the customer must follow up with the company when there is a problem. As far as I'm concerned, the manager (Sean Mallard) should have been calling ME to try to make it right. It has been several weeks and I have called multiple times and left messages with absolutely NO response. It's becoming apparent that I am going to have to pay out of pocket to fix the damage his people caused. Considering they list the Kirby for several THOUSAND $$, I would expect they would have a better customer service process in place. This experience has certainly led me to write reviews on A.C.T. anywhere I can to warn people so they don't have the same problem with A.C.T. My HOA has also been notified and the rest of our community should be getting a cautionary note in the upcoming newsletter. It is a very sad state when a company that relies on word-of-mouth advertising can drop the ball so poorly when they aren't able to live up to basic expectations. Avoid this company at all costs...
