Amanda Chin, NP, believes the foundation of providing quality-based care starts by establishing a communicative, approachable and trusting relationship between the patient and provider. She believes every parent deserves to have a primary care provider that will listen to their concerns and together, create an ongoing individualized plan that best fits the child and family's needs. Amanda enjoys teaching about preventive care and empowering kids to learn how to best care for themselves. Amanda provides care to kids of all ages, and has particular interest in newborn care, asthma and eczema management, minor acute illnesses and mental health concerns such as anxiety and depression.Amanda received her nursing degree from the Ohio State University College of Nursing and earned her Master of Science in Nursing at University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora, Colorado. She is certified as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in Primary Care through the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board and is affiliated with National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners.In her spare time, Amanda stays busy hiking and camping. She also loves to cook and tries at least one new recipe per week. Amanda enjoys traveling and learning about other cultures.
