On our drive home we did however receive a phone call by the Woodman store stating that the Austin Bluffs store had the battery we needed. We did drive to that store to pick up the battery. Once home we replace the battery on the cell phone only to get the screen with a big old question mark. I called the Austin Bluffs store to ask about this and was told that the battery would not work. Something about a chip or missing chip? I would told that I would need to return the battery. Once again we were offered nothing but a "sucks to be you" casual attitude. I am quite sad to say that the $50 battery can be purchase via Internet as low as $10 and as high as $47 and that is with either free shipping and or 2 day shipping. Yet Battery Plus can’t deliver the same battery at a higher price in 16 days. Be you all did deliver very poor and unsatisfying customer service.I myself personal have only been to Batteries Plus once; to buy a battery for a flashlight that I could not find at any other store. Trust me I did search many a store first. You can rest assured I will no longer shop at Batteries Plus. I will check the Internet if I cant find what I need in any other brick and mortar store in town. As I see things we are due some type of compensation for our unpleasant fruitless adventure with your company. A minimum of 6 days overdue on said promised delivery. One round trip to the Woodman store to find out just what was going on was 32 miles. Two round trips to the Austin Bluffs store at 26 miles each for a total of 52 miles. Grand total of 84 miles driven and 16 days later still not battery. That is about 5 gallons of gas at about $3.70 a gallon for a total of $18.50. Not to mention the wear and tear of the vehicle nor our inconvenience or the amount of time it takes to drive 84 miles in city traffic.Add insult to injury when we went back today for a refund we were told that they would have to put the battery on their tester for 24 hours before they could do anything. Also keep in mind that special arrangements were made to be in town to take care of this matter resulting several days of lost revenue.
