Meet the Owner Wendy became the owner of Canine Corner in 1980 after leaving corporate and completing dog grooming school. Making a dream a goal she relocated and dove into this active business with shears in hand. In 1990 Wendy became a National Certified Master Groomer (NCMG) and opened her 5th location in Colorado Springs. By mid 90’s Wendy realized the needs of her family and started to downsize. By 2000 Wendy was able to consolidate and move her intimate grooming business home. In 2002 Wendy applied for and was accepted by National Dog Groomer Asso. to work as a "Certifier" in their Master program. Today, Wendy is National’s Certification Coordinator and works part time for them conducting workshops and test sights and/or attending National trade shows and seminars through out the US. She also breeds,raises and shows westies with her husband and have "Cameron’s Westies" , plus 2 kitty boys. Prior to the terrier's entering their lives,the Booth's had raised and shown Standard Poodles, having the breed part of the Clan for 33 years. It is safe to say that Wendy has gone to the dogs...and she still loves what she does!! Appointment only, please plan ahead and give Canine Corner a call.

Very rude, no patience for disable and sick pet owners. Doesn't give u second chance. We waited 3 weeks to have our scheduled appointment since the owner had surgery done. Since I'm disabled I respected that.., The day of the appointment the dog owner was very sick and couldn't stand or get out of bed. Wendy the owner just got upset we couldn't make it without listing to reason and hung up the phone on us without listing or giving a chance to explain or reschedule - very unprofessional and a rude person. It was our first scheduled appointment and she wasn't welling to listen or give another chance to reschedule. Just a very ugly person. On the phone while scheduling she gives u an impression of a decent person; well- she's not! I wouldn't trust my pet with someone with such little patience and NO basic communications skills .

Canine Corner is the best groomer I've found! My Yorkie used to tremble whenever we took him to a groomer but he fell in love with Wendy. Now we have a Toy Poodle puppy and both dogs get top quality, breed specific cuts. Wendy is very knowledgable and has pride in her work that shows when you pick up your pet after a service. Highly recommend!!
