In late August I saw Dr. Turner for a Belotero lip fill procedure. It usually lasts up to a year but ofcourse isn't guaranteed. When I got home I saw that the area above my right upper lip looked great---but above my left upper lip, I couldn't tell any difference. There were also two deep lines under my lower lip that appeared to be unchanged. I thought surely these areas must be better than before the procedure, and I simply had a case of "selective memory." I didn't want to be a complainer---so I didn't go back to share my concerns until early November. BIG MISTAKE! The center pulled my "before" pictures and I appreciated the fact that they were in complete agree-ment with me. They did not know what went wrong but Dr. Turner was willing to have me come back. I believe he should have used the Belotero again and/or perhaps Juvederm for the deeper lines under my lip. He would only do that if I paid again, since I had waited approx 10 weeks to call. His remedy---at no charge--was to use botox. It's quite a challenge to take anything other than a tiny bite of food, eat spaghetti or sip soup from a spoon. (maybe the silver lining to this problem is weight loss!) Trying to spit after brushing my teeth is almost impossible.I have a temporary speech impediment, too. It's annoying to try and articulate words that start with a w,m or p. From Dr. Turner's perspective, he probably feels like he was accomodating to do the botox at no charge. Surely the center would not have had to close their doors if he'd corrected the problem the right way and not charged me again. Luckily--like with a bad hair cut--these annoyances are temporary. Perhaps it is my fault for not going back sooner. My message is to go back immediately if you have a concern, and think long and hard before having botox injected around your lips.

The doctors and staff and this office are wonderful! I have had several skin treatments done and am always completely satisfied. I've gone to other cosmetic offices in town and have not had the same great experience. Don't waste your time any where else!

Drs. Trookman, Turner and Mentz are the best cosmetic doctors that I have been to. They are board certified dermatologists and know their stuff! Their staff is very professional and the office is in a great location. I was nervous the first time I went there, but they quickly put me at ease. I highly recommend this cosmetic skin care office.
