I saw Dr. Keller for a few skin concerns. She questioned my family history as if I were not being honest. I've had cancer in my family, so I didn't appreciate that. I found her bedside manner to be very inappropriate. She cut me off a few times and was very blunt about my having cancerous spots that needed to be removed. Without explaining much, she grabbed a can to freeze the spots declaring that I'd be red for a week. I literally stuck out my hands and said, "Wait." I had an event that weekend and didn't need my face to be red and splotchy. I've heard good things about her, so you can make up your own opinion, but my feeling is that there are way too many great dermatologist in the Springs area to put up with this type of rude behavior. I've never taken the time to write a bad review like this, so I think that's saying a lot.

I was seen by Dr Trookman on two occasions and by his staff on another two occasions. I had had a skin condition for six years. I was given a patch test and it was determined that I was sensitive to a chemical in products that I was using on a daily basis. The service I received was professional, prompt and courteous. I highly recommend Dr Trookman and this dermatology clinic.

I saw the new physician, Dr. Emily Keller. What a personable, kind, knowledgeable doctor. She made me feel comfortable right away. I saw her for a skin condition that has been bothering me for the last month. She knew exactly what it was and provided care and reassurance to me. I am a little frustrated I waited to see a dermatologist. All is well. Thank you Dr. Keller. I would recommend her to anyone.

I saw Dr. Trookman at Colorado Springs Dermatology for a mole that seemed to be changing. He was extraordinarily knowledgeable and very kind. He spoke to me in terms that were easy to understand. I would highly recommend this wonderful practice.

I saw Dr. Mentz a few times and thought I was pretty happy with her. But well, after I had a particular mole removed that had been developing a different tone/coloring around it- which she said she really thought seemed ok and nothing to worry about, but I asked her to remove and test it anyway- it ended up testing as "moderate atypical neevus." From how her nurse explained it to me on the phone, it wasn't cancer but could potentially have become dangerous and they had me come in for a punch removal to get all the affected tissue. After that, Dr. Mentz told me she wanted to see me again in 6 months- then she said no, in a year should be fine- to check on it. I thought my issue had been removed and all was well and good. Shortly after that, I began seeing a regular primary care doctor for the first time in a while due to me getting insurance. When this dr. found out I'd been diagnosed with atypical neevus, she explained it meant I was at a higher risk for developing melanoma (a dangerous form of skin cancer) elsewhere on my body and that it was important for me to start having thorough head-to-toe skin checks every year. Dr. Mentz had not informed me of any of that, and she never did give me a thorough skin exam when I was in, only looked at the specific things I was in to see her about. Neither she nor her nurse explained that the atypical neevus meant I was at a high risk for developing melanoma elsewhere and needed to start having thorough annual skin exams. I would not recommend Dr. Mentz because of this- she may not explain your situation and options thoroughly to you, resulting in you being unaware or having a misunderstanding of your condition. She also didn't like it when I talked to her about the itchy bumps I'd been having appear on my skin, when I was there for the mole removal, saying "When I schedule a procedure for a patient, I just allow time for that procedure."

I have a benign skin condition which causes many moles to grow on my body. Seborrheic Keratosis. They are fortunately not cancerous but they are unsightly so I occasionally have them removed. I went in to see Dr. Ginger Mentz and she was not only very rushed but I felt like I was wasting her time. She was unfriendly, in a hurry, offered to freeze a few for me and went through this procedure very quickly, so quickly that the moles never came off. It didn't work. It was a waste of time and money.

I saw Dr. Mike Babcock for pretty bad acne. He understood me and what I was going through as a 16 year old with bad skin. He spent time with me and did a great job in helping my acne go away. I highly recommend Dr. Babcock, especially to teenagers who suffer from acne because it doesn't have to be that way.

I saw Dr Babcock and Colorado Springs dermatology clinic a couple of months ago and was so happy with him that I decided to write a review. Dr Babcock listened to my questions, made me feel comfortable, and took care of my problems. I am very happy with my results and will definitely be going back!

I went to see Dr. Trookman after a bout with Melanoma, he did a cancer screening, explained things other doctors hadn't and put me at ease. Great care and caring people there. He recommended laser to clear up some potential issues and the staff at the Laser Clinic were also amazing and comforting.

I've gone to Colorado Springs Dermatology on three separate occasions (against my better judgment) and was seen by three different doctors: Michael Babcock, Michael Turner and Ginger Mentz. Where I had the same disappointing experience with all three! I suffer from an inflammation skin disease that has plagued me for the majority of my life where I've literally tried all the medicines available for my condition. Only one has shown successful results! My initial visit I gave my complete history on all the unsuccessful medications I've tried over the years with only exception. And all three of those doctors disregarded my personal experience as unsubstantial. And their solution, was to offer the same medications that NEVER work! So I tried their recommendations and symptoms always became worse (and to add insult to injury) they STILL DIDN'T LISTEN! I would NEVER recommend this dermatological facility...not even to my worst enemy!!! Please, STAY AWAY!!!

Do NOT go Here!!!!!! I just received my husband's and my bill from CO Springs Dermatology. We were charged $90 for each of our visits. I went for a skin cancer screening. Dr. Babcock spent a maximum of five minutes with me after I waited in the waiting room for 35 minutes. He quickly looked at my arms and back and gave me a couple pamphlets on skin cancer. My husband had a wart removed for $132 +$90 office visit fee. Again, Dr. Babcock spent a minimal amount of time with him. I hope this review helps. I wish someone would have warned me of the exorbitant fees of this clinic.
