Geoquest does soil and engineering which is a conflict of interest for designing septic systems that are over priced and charging people premium costs. Do not have the same people doing the soil test and drawings for you when you go for a septic system. They are getting a lot of complaints within their networking of related vendors as well. We made the mistake of going with them and knew ahead that an area was sandy soil because of land surveys done and recorded by the state. Geoquest posted that it was high expansive clay that you would find in mountain properties, so the vendor doing the septic could overcharge for an install. Not an honest organization and a young kid doing inspections has no idea of what he is looking at when the soil is pinkish in hue and while real expansive clay is dark gray rock.
