Waste of money. I bought a 5 lesson package which reduced his normal $40.00 per hour down to $28.00. In all I paid $140.00 to watch YouTube video's with Mr Westfall. He was not able to teach me anything and even the slightest technique I learned was from YouTube and not (and I use this term loosely) the instructor. I was already aware of all the Youtube instructional video's and wanted a more "person to person" lesson and Mr Westfall wasn't able to deliver. I have almost 20 years of playing and the only one who got a lesson was Phil Westfall, whats worse is he got paid to be taught techniques. Of the 5 lessons I paid for I only took 4 and I just let him keep the last $28.00 because to be honest.....I just felt sorry for him.

If you have a kid who is a beginner or you are a beginner yourself then Phil is the guy to see. However, if you are anywhere above "intermediate" then it's highly recommended you find another instructor because Mr Westfall simply isn't that good. Why pay $40.00 a hour to learn how to play from the internet? Just keep your $40.00 and watch YouTube video's on your own. If you want serious lessons then there are better instructors out there. Supposedly he has given thousands of lessons yet where is the feedback from satisfied customers?
