I have been a client since 2007. I absolutely love the professionalism and care that all the staff has provided over the years. I would highly recommend High Plains to everyone!

I wouldn't even give them one star!!!!! HORRIBLE. I called to get information about bringing my dog in and the receptionist ruined my experience before it even started. As an animal lover I expect my vets to have the same love and compassion for my dogs and they do not here!!!!!

Dr McKenny is wonderful! The entire staff is friendly, helpful and compassionate. Having dogs my entire life I have been to many vets, ( many of them have been excellent ) but never has anyone been as caring as Dr McKenny. She absolutely has the animals best interest as her first priority. She TRULY cares about the animals. I highly recommend her and the staff.

Dr. Pierce was great with my dog. My dog was extremely ill and I did not think she would survive her illness. Dr. Pierce and staff are so patient and friendly, especially the reception desk staff. I feel Dr. Pierce sincerely cared and because of that my dog is feeling so much better.

We have been coming here ever since they opened and have never had a bad experience with them. Dr. Pierce helped us let our Boston terrier have a long, good life. At our last appointment, Dr. Pierce let us know gently that it was time to ease Vinny over. She pointed out some things that we had refused to see or admit. They hurt as much as we did that day. We also have an older, diabetic cat. Whenever we need to take a trip where he can't go they are always happy to have him stay at the clinic.Animals are not dollar signs to them. They are family members with individual personalities.

We just got a puppy and he needed his nails to be trimmed, so i called to ask about prices and they even referred me to a cheaper nail trimming place in the same strip mall. The Dr's are even ok with them referring this place. The lady was very nice and helpful. We will be using them for all our veterinary care!

High Plains Veterinary Hospital is fabulous! Dr. McKenney is great! Their prices are very fair and comparable. They are caring, thorough and the doctors and staff really do treat my pets as family. The office is clean and offers the latest in veterinary medicine. I would not take my pets anywhere else.

Took my large dogs (Rhodesian Ridgeback and South African Boerboel) to get lots of tests and some answers to their recent problems. All other vets I visited did simple (but expensive) blood tests and told me everything looked fine. Well, everything except my actual DOGS looked fine. I wasn't getting any answers. On a recommendation, I visited this clinic and found them to be kind, knowledgable, and thorough. I also found their prices for immunizations, blood tests, etc. to be MUCH cheaper than other clinics. Although I live near Castle Rock, I am willing to drive the distance to return to this clinic - they have a very nice new facility, reasonable prices, and most importantly, wonderful vets!

The doctor there is afraid of rats. Lame

New and clean, with terrific vets and staff. Wasn't too thrilled with my last vet. Will be coming back to this one.

Took my dog in for medical care. Was treated with kindness and compassion. Everyone from the receptionist to the vet was wonderful. This is my new clinic. Even my dog enjoyed being there.
