About Hiner Outdoor Living On A Mission To Get Colorado Springs Outside Since 2008 It All Began As A Lifestyle I started Hiner Outdoor Living (originally Hiner Landscapes) for one reason; transform Colorado Springs into a town of â??outsidersâ??. Coming home from a stressful day, my wife Melissa and I would sit outside on our patio and take in the fresh air. This is when the epiphany of â??why doesnâ??t everyone have thisâ?? came about. Of all times to start a new business, I began in the Fall of 2008. Being in the business of letting people relax and relieve the stresses of the day, starting this company at the beginning of a recession actually helped our clients drift away for a bit each day.
