Provided by YP.comwindow installers bobby and mike were late and looked very unprofessional. we decided to go somewhere else. we heard jd vigil was a great company from our neighbors but we did not feel comfortable with the 2 guys that showed up, not a good experience they looked like they were on something.

I went directly to JD, before last Thanksgiving about putting a pellet or gas insert into my existing fireplace. He said that this would be no problem because business was slow. He invited me to the showroom and assisted me in choosing a unit that fit my needs best. I asked for an estimate. He said that he would work one up for me. After a month had passed, I called him back and asked for the estimate. He stated. That he had family matters that interfered with returning contact with me. He verbally quoted me an install of $5000-6000 after seeing what he was working with. He said that since he had made me wait so long he would discount my price on labor and parts. After I finally got an estimate, just for the insert, in January, I paid for the parts. I called numerous times to find out information and kept getting the run around, JD was never available to answer questions and no one else had answers. Most of the parts came in February and a date was scheduled to start the job. The day before work was scheduled to start, I get a call that JD wants to reschedule once the last part comes in. Weeks pass and the part arrives. The work crew were entirely professional at all times, but had no clue about any arrangements that JD had spoken with me about. JD had to come over to explain the job. I was present for every minute that labor was performed and documented times. I had asked for an install estimate and JD had never provided one saying that he would take good care of me. Once the install was complete, I noticed several discrepancies on the invoice and requested clarification. I was told that JD would review and get back to me. When it was all said and done he charged me extra hours and parts costs. He noted that he forgot to add on a couple of items and jacked the bill up another $400 due immediately. I asked what happened to the 6 months same as cash deal that you offered me? His response was that I never filled out the application that I was never offered.
All in all I paid more than the original estimate (good thing I got a discount). The only thing worse than his accountability and accounting practices is his poor customer service attitude. I would not recommend this company to an enemy. I will gather my documentation and take this up with the Better Business Bureau, which he IS a member of. If you decide to do business with this man, beware and get everything in writing because he has no business ethics. My mistake was not reading the reviews before calling his company. Thank you JD for your service, you give small business a bad name and you should never have been reinstated in the company.

Provided by YP.comHorrible, horrible horrible!!! Charged me $4300 for an $1800 furnace. I have had more problems in the last 16 months with the new furnace than I did in the last 10 years with my 32 year-old furnace! They are rude, and very unhelpful when I called. Hindsight is always 20/20 but I sincerely wish I would have done some research on this company before I did business with them.

Provided by YP.comWife called this company because the company that installed ours was not available for 2 days. We have a warranty on the condensor unit and not only did the technician not tell my wife it was a covered component, he lied and told her it wasn't when she asked him. Charged us $225 for the part when it should have been replaced as a labor only repair. She called the rude woman receptionist and she told my wife the technician decided to replace it at cost because it would have cost more under warranty. Apparently they charge a $75 warranty processing fee for handling warranty claims on units they did not install. She told my wife it would have been $320 under warranty instead of the $311.50 that they charged us. How is something cost more to replace under warranty? They charged a $79 trip charge when their address is 30 minutes from my house. They also charge a nonnegotiable $7.50 for Misc and Enviro, with no explanation on receipt, and there were no chemicals or environmental waste that was handled. Their website says: WE GIVE YOU UPFRONT PRICING ON ALL SERVICE REPAIRS – KNOW WHAT THE REPAIR WILL COST BEFORE WE BEGIN THE WORK. This was not done in this case, all we have is the receipt, no written estimate. When I called the manager Bob, he told me he talked to the technician and the technician told him that he told my wife that it was under warranty and explained all charges, which he most definitely did not, and then he told me HE talked to my wife, which is not true either. I saved the chat I had with my wife in which she told me specifically that it was not under warranty. We have since had the part replaced with the company that installed the unit, under warranty, at more than half the cost of what this sorry company charged. In summation: the technician lied and was very deceitful, receptionist was very rude, and the manager lied.

Provided by YP.comSO BAD. Kicking myself for doing business with this company. Extremely overcharged for the services done on my HVAC system. Billing practices are very unethical and designed in a manner to dupe unsuspecting customers. Please, think twice before calling these guys, that is unless you enjoy being overcharged and taken advantage of. I wish I would have made another call after Olsen was booked up.
Speak with your wallets and avoid this place.

Was the technician polite, did he show up on time and perform good work? WE enjoy the highest rating at the BBB an A+, because we're honest say what we do and do what we say.
