Provided by YP.comJust letting you all know just what a wonderful establishment you have here in Colorado Springs. I've had several pieces done here over the years & I can't say enough good things about this tattoo parlor. Your artists are phenomenal with their own uniqueness and individuality. Whether it be 3-4 hours of custom work or an hour of something less intricate they always give the same attentiveness to detail & artistry. It's not only the cleanest professional atmosphere I've ever been in, they are family friendly & have the most welcoming & personable staff I've ever encountered. The talent that flows through your walls have touched many lives & we wear them daily....& forever. I highly recommend Living Art Tattoo for the best quality Tattoos & Piercings in Colo Spgs hands down...this place is second to none! I am proud to wear your art & I look forward to giving you as much business as my remaining unadorned skin allows me to. You guys are amazing...great job all of you.

Provided by YPmobileI went in a like a year and a half ago to get my nose pierced with my sister. The guy who did it seemed high and out of it. He pierced both my nose and my sisters nose. Later that day the piercing started sinking into my nose! A day after that my sister had the same problem. I couldn't go in until a couple days later and had to deal with the pain. I had to keep pushing the piercing up so it wouldn't heal over it. I went in and had it removed. They agreed to do it again as soon as I was ready. After that experience I was really turned away from getting it again for a long time. Especially because the guy who removed it started talking bad about the guy who did it and said he always messes up. Well my sister and I were thinking of getting it pierced again. I just called them and started explaining the situation to her and she straight up had a bad attitude with me and said the guy who did it hasn't worked there in 3 years...I told her I still had the papers and just wanted to if they'll still honor it. She said something about if it hasn't expired! Like really?! I wouldn't suggest anyone going there! And if they do mess yours up ask for your money back! I mean it's $10 bucks but still they need to know to have better customer service! Geez!! Making me out to be a lier. Also they should learn to have better attitudes and respect. Smh. Josh Dun

Provided by YPmobileTo say the least I had one of the best tattoos done by Kate @ living arts tattoos a few weeks ago.... As I was not familiar with that area I was told to walk in & check out the art.... As I did I was greeted by a very friendly employee who was very busy yet still managed to greet us with a friendly smile as we were told to make ourselves comfortable & have a look at some of the artist work... I was then asked what I was looking to get & as my dad & mom have both passed away 5 years to the day I wanted to get something in memory of my Dad who was an avid hunter & quite the artist himself ... I was greeted by Kate who was on a tight schedule she managed to not only get me in but after spending time working with what image I thought I wanted Kate again ceased to amaze me with her brilliant ideas & artwork not to mention she really understood how much this tattoo meant to me and went above & beyond to make it special! As we started the tattoo I was in fear it was going to hurt as I was looking at about 3 hours of work but to say the least she did way more than what I had ever imagined & knowing this will be on my body forever I can truly say that living art tattoo made it more than just a special experience not only with the tattoo but with the shop & the artist there by the time we were finished I think every artist had popped in at least once to check it out & great advice from all these talented artist only made my Dad's memorial piece that much more amazing! I cannot express my gratitude for this special piece I will carry with me for the rest of my life! I will most definitely be back for more art work very very soon!

I have been going to Living Art for awhile, and I do love it. What I did notice when trying to post reviews on other sites, is the attempt by artists not working there to do a smear campaign on not only Living Art but other shops as well. But conveniently give rave reviews to their own shop. Really I review cause I am customer, and nothing more. I don't need to wade thru reviews by pathetic artists not employed there, and who have free time on their hands, probably cause they are doing crappy tattoos or looking for a job. These sites are for fellow customers to relate their experiences, not for people who have grudges on everyone besides their own little world. Really grow the heck up, and by the way my friend did go into the shop you were trying to promote and was appalled and she is now a faithful customer of Living Art Tattoo, so I guessed that backfired on your freaken ghetto butt didn't it. If you want fair pricing, a fun environment, and people who really care what you want for your artwork then go to Living Art Tattoo. I love it and I am sure will too.

I have been into Living Art Tattoo and my first impression was the shop was clean and everyone was friendly. I have met the owner before and he was very helpful and nice, the artists care about quality and for someone to say that the owner "rapes" the artists is ridiculous. I for one may not know how the shop is ran but from the way I see it, its a great shop and whoever doesn't like it, well there are a lot of shops in town that only care about your money but not the quality of your tattoo. I will keep going back for tattoos and piercings and I suggest everyone does.

but thats about it...the walls are covered in 80's tribal flash...uuggghhh....

pretty much sums it up. the owner rapes the artists, and the customer gets the pissy attitude....you cant expect a happy artist if hes not even getting paid for the work he does.

08/31/13 I got gifted a Groupon for my birthday, which was the 4th of August, let me start with, this tattoo parlor is disorganized, dirty, and unprofessional, I went originally to one of the artists and he was nice and polite but he suggested that I went to Josh because Josh specialized in sailor Jerry type tattoos. The experience I had with Josh was a NIGHTMARE. He was RUDE and IMPATIENT, he was upset that I wanted a custom tattoo, instead of something stenciled directly from the internet. He complained to me non-stop that he made no money from the Groupon deals, he then proceeded to tell me about how the boss made 50% and Groupon made 50%. I planned on tipping him generously, but there was no way I'd let this guy take a needle to my arm, he was turning red from how upset he was when I told him that the stencil he drew for my tattoo looked like a fifth grader drew it( I know that was rude but i was getting fed up at that point and i couldn't believe he'd actually put this garbage on someones skin permanently). I had to discuss my tattoo with him while he was smoking a cigarette outside he took my ideas that I had printed up for him and said there's no way he'd do it for a Groupon. I can not stress how RUDE he was, even insulting me asking if I got my idea from Pintrest and was talking about me to the staff like I couldn't hear him! BOTTOM LINE: I will never spend money here I would never recommend this place to a friend, I wouldn't recommend this place to an enemy! I seriously feel like I dodged a bullet. Provided by YP.comI went in to get a piercing and was greeted by 2 people behind the counter. They both welcomed me with smiling faces and asked if they could assist me. I wanted to get my nose piercing done and was a little nervous. The guy behind the counter spoke to me and assured me everything was going to be just fine. The place was clean and you could smell a lavender sent in the air. I went into the piercing room and the same guy who helped me behind the counter was the same guy who was doing the piercings. The piercer was wearing a mask which i thought was odd, but he explained he wears one with all his piercings to protect us and himself from germs and people who are sick. He went over the Aftercare sheet and gave me his card, and asked if I had any questions. I did have a few and he answered them. My piercing was quick and painless. Michael Brummett is the best piercer I have met. He is very professional and cares about his clients. I will only go to him for my piercings now. I found out he also does tattoos and discussed a few ideas I had. I am waiting for my husband to get back from his deployment so we both can come in together to get tattoos. Im looking forward to getting my tattoo done as well.

Provided by YP.comI got my navel pierced here... The guy I had completely pierced it in so deep into my navel that my ring had to constantly migrate till I had to remove it. They didn't act professional; they were actually pretty rude... When he was telling me how to take care of my piercing, he sounded unfriendly and didn't even bother to slow down on the instructions. In fact I had to call the shop an hour later (this time the instructions were given by someone else) and I had to record the conversation just so I can remember how to take care of it since they didn't give me a care instruction paper like other shops usually do. I ended up having my piercing for only three months, because another shop recommended that I remove the jewelry since it was pierced incorrectly and was about to rip out of my body.

first of all big mike the owner is NOT A TATTOO ARTIST AND has no bussiness owning a shop. every photo on their facebook of a tattoo is not their work if they posted their own photos you could see what really happens at this shop VERY BAD TATTOOS if you look at their portfollios you can see they are all lacking skill . the shop looks nice and has a good location in the ghetto so idiots that dont have a clue what a good tattoo even is will keep the doors open along with the 10 dollar stabbings they call piercings keep in mind that they try to teach each other, the blind laeding the blind this place makes colorado springs look wack

Horrible customer service and not a very clean place. I was quoted one thing over the phone and when I got there the quote changed... The staff was drunk and drinking when I arrived to get a tattoo and they were very very rude... I couldn't get out of there fast enough.. Don't get anything done there....

My friend and I tried it after a horrible experience at a another place. I love their work! I have gotten every piercing from there since and my husband got a tattoo that came out awsome. The staff have always been nice and professional. Go there for excellent service:)

Provided by YPmobileThere's so many tattoo shops in this town but this one stands out portfolios on tv screens, booths for privacy, very clean shop, not dark and scary. I even brought my nephew which they allowed kids. I got a tattoo from rob and it turned out great. Thanks Rob I would definitly go back again. Mike

Went there for a new piercing once with a friend and he knew the piercer. She was cool, real nice and did me good. But the second time I went, it was a totally different person, they didn't seem to know what they were doing at all and got confused several times with what I was telling them.

I was not impressed with Living Art Tattoo. The male piercer was unprofessional, rude, and didn't seem like he knew what he was doing. I would recommend you go elsewhere if you're looking for a pleasent experience.
