I have been a member of the church of christ for about 5 years. I been to this church one time, the congregation seemed like some nice people, and the preacher seemed knowledgeable about the word. After that I ran into some hard times, and fell from grace. I"ve known for awhile I needed to fix this, I ran into another problem today and needed to print out 8 pages for my SSDI that are due in two days, and both my printers are out of ink and I am broke. I remembered that church, and thought maybe they would help me out. I called the number on their website and told the preacher that I had fallen from grace and would like to get back on track, and also about my SSDI problem. His response was referring me to a closed government office, gave me directions, and didn't even say anything about my religious needs. Apparently eight pages of ink must be too much cost, and my spiritual needs can be solved at a government office. I happened to mention that the office was closed, and he had no response, other than go there tomorrow. At that point I just said really appreciate the help and hung up the phone. I would just like to remind him of a couple scriptures. matthew 7:7-12 and James 2:12-17
