Since 1995, Eddie Dowdle has performed on and taught percussion and drum set throughout Colorado in many different facets. He performs as a classical percussionist, jazz drummer, show drummer, and rock drummer. Eddie teaches percussion and drum set as a private teacher, drum line coach, and concert band percussion section coach. Eddie has also judged local solo and ensemble festivals. Eddie has a degree in music performance from Metro Sate College of Denver. Eddie is currently the Director of Drumline at Colorado State University-Pueblo. Eddie is a member of the Vic Firth Education Team, the Percussive Arts Society, the Hudson Music Teacher Integration Program, and the Pikes Peak Musician's Association AFM Local 154. Eddie has performed with classical ensembles and orchestras, rock bands, jazz bands, churches, and theaters throughout Colorado including the Chamber Orchestra of the Springs, Colorado Springs Philharmonic, Arapahoe Philharmonic, Colorado Wind Ensemble, Boulder Dinner Theatre, Lake Dillon Theater, and Town Hall Arts Center. Eddie teaches drum set, snare, mallets, concert percussion, and marching percussion.
