Buyer BEWARE!! Found a vehicle listed on Car Guru and drove 20 miles to see it. I drove to a location that looked like a salvage yard and had to park a block away. The vehicle was being cleaned. The mechanic answered my questions and was extremely professional. The owner, Rob, on the other hand was extremely rude and dismissive. I test drove the vehicle and called a mechanic to have it checked over at 10:30am, the next day. I asked if I could pick the car up at 10:15am. Rob gave me an elaborate story about picking up parts so he wouldn't be there until after 10:30. So I adjusted my appt. time.
I was back at 10:30am. (Website time lists 10am-6pm) He wasn't there, his wife was. I told her I had spoken with her husband about taking it to a mechanic. She took over 15 minutes to find the keys. Then another 10 to make a copy of my license. Then proceeded to lecture me about bringing the vehicle back if I wasn't interested. I told her I wouldn't have made an appointment with a mechanic if I wasn't I interested. She was just as rude as her husband.
My mechanic thankful said it was a BAD DEAL! I took it back and will NOT EVER go back. Found a similar review from another buyer on Craig's list. Wish I had seen it before I wasted two days.
