Unfortunately I had to select one star and to be honest I want to select zero stars. I went into the store today and experienced the worst customer service ever. (And that is a really bold statement) I tried to use the "family discount card" and because my husband has a different last name they refused to let me use it even when I explained that sometimes husbands and wives have different last names. They specifically checked my ID to make sure our last names matched after I told them we had different last names.

I asked to speak to the manager and they pointed to an asian woman with short gray hair and said she was the owner and to talk to her. She said it was "against the law" for me to use the discount card. Wow! I guess I am a law breaker, never been accused of that one before! I was surprised at how condescending she was so I asked for a number to call to complain and she gave me the store number and said to speak to Cathy and that Cathy was the owner. I asked for her name and she refused to give it to me saying that she didn't have to tell me her name and that "Colorado Law says" she doesn't have to tell me anything. I told her I would like to be able to tell Cathy who I was speaking with when I called her. She then said she was Cathy and when I asked if she was the owner she said she didn't have to tell me anything and that she wasn't Cathy. Clearly she could not keep up with her dishonesty in the short period of time I spoke with her (less than five minutes).

I stated that this was the worst customer service I have ever experienced and she told me to "have a nice day." Pretty unbelievable experience over what would have amounted to less than a dollar in savings.

If I could rate 0 u would! Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever received! If u value being treated humanely do not shop there! At checkout I told them to put back these items I would not purchase them there! Horrible experience ����

I was hoping that I could give this place 0 stars! I will never go here again! I walked in and was told that I could not bring my purse and had to hand it to them or put it in a locker. REALLY? Apparently carrying a purse makes me a shoplifter, but I am supposed to trust them with my purse? Then the little woman by the door started yelling at me when I told them that I was going to shop elsewhere. This is no way to do business.

This place truly does not do Colorado Springs any favors.I thought that I was alone in my descision not to go there. But there is even a boycott group I found on facebook. I personally can not wait until it goes under. I have seen the (I am assuming) owner, (the lady with the grey hair), yelling at people, (both customer and employee) and their customer service lacks in every sense of the word.The helpful people no longer work there. You would think that by having such a large (and probably outdated and expired) inventory, their prices would be better than the corner store 3 blocks from my house. But, they're not. I can find many of the same items cheaper at the smaller stores (including the newly released products) as well as better sales. This store has the same sales over and over and over. I've seen these products at better NON SALE prices than the discount here. Their prices continue to rise and they can't even get their heads on straight as far as their discounts, it was 20% then 15%, then 20 what's the deal? THERE IS NONE!!!!. I for now will go ANYWHERE except these stores.

Bad bottle of wine? Tough luck pal!

Bought a bottle of South African wine for a wine tasting with a SA wine theme. At the wine tasting a rating slip was next to each bottle brought by attendees. You were asked to rate the wine 1 thru 5 ... five being the highest rating. After the wine I brought received a few 1's I tasted it ... it was evident why it was getting a poor rating ... it was bad, no question. I pulled the bottle from the tasting table & corked it. A week later I returned it and was told essentially by a Springs Liquor manager tough luck pal. I've bought wine all over this country, occasionally you get a bad bottle ... never once when returning it for credit, or replacement, have I had a liquor store not apologize and promptly give me a refund or credit. Needless to say I will not be frequenting this business establishment again.

Insulting to me!

Some people might not be insulted by being told to leave your purse outside the store because of shoplifting...I certainly am! Besides, what woman shops without a purse? This is the most prepostorous and insulting policy I've ever heard of. Too bad I could not rate with ZERO stars. I WILL NEVER SHOP HERE!
