Established in 1960, the Stratmoor Hills Fire Department offers a variety of fire prevention and suppression services to more than 6,500 residents. The department provides protection services for several residential and commercial facilities. It offers 24-hour emergency response and advanced life support services. The Stratmoor Hills Fire Department s staff is comprised over of 7 full-time personnel and nearly 20 volunteers. In addition, the department provides fire prevention programs for educational institutions and commercial complexes. It maintains a fleet of engines, ambulances, rescue vehicles and brush trucks.
