DO YOUR PETS A FAVOR AND TAKE THEM SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!! this was the worst grooming experience I've ever had! I own a business in town and will be spreading the word to everyone I know so they won't make the mistake of going here! I think I will even post a sign at my store.. That's how disgusted I am. Wish someone would have warned me ahead of time!

Go somewhere else. They have terrible customer service

My review is based only on todays experience. Stopped by for a nail trim for my puppy and did not get the quality the I received in the past. Owner and staff are ALWAYS great but when I got home, my puppy scratched me badly because his nails had so many ruff/sharp edges. I will give Tailored Tails another chance but I don't want to be scratched like this again after getting his nails done by professional groomers.

I took my 6 month old labradoodle in yesterday to get groomed. Picked him up and was happy to see him all clean. His hair was 4 inches long but they did a good job getting it shorter. Barley looks so cute after he got groomed. Thanks so much.

During my appointment I presented the groomers with 2 very dirty dogs. Complete with grass stuck in their matted hair. My poor little guys! How embarrassing! Thank you, for not judging! We've been traveling since May. And Thank You, for your patience and the care taken to make them look fantastic. Truly professional people and great prices. We'll be back soon!

I have taken my precious Miss Prissy here for years, they are the best most loving and caring groomers ever. We had a bad experience in other salons, and after coming to Tailored Tails, we could never go anywhere else. The staff is awesome from Mary at the front desk, the groomers, and the owner. I recommend all my fur baby friends here.

People are helpful and my dog is always happy and looks good. They told me about cat grooming too, I'd never heard of such a thing. I couldn't believe the difference it made, I don't think my cat has looked this good since she was a kitten!

I've always had a great experience with tailored tails. It's clean and doesn't smell damp or musty like most other grooming shops I've been to before. I've been taking my dog there for a while now. They just added cat grooming so I can get my himalayan groomed there now as well. All in all, I'd definitely recommend it.

This is the only place I will take my Lhasa Apso to get groomed. They have never disappointed me. We esp. love their monthly specials! Thanks, Tailored Tails!

A very impressive place! Clean, fresh, business professionals - nice for a change! Some grooming shops are so smelly and dirty and the people working there don't look much better sometimes, but not here. And my Max came prancing out of there happy and looking great! Very good service here and I'll be a long time customer!

This is the worst place possible that you could take your dog to get groomed. Worst experience i have ever had in my entire life. The owner is very unprofessional and has no clue how to run a business. My dog came back shaved which is not what i asked for. She cried all day long after i picked her up. I do believe that they did something to my dog to make her so upset. I will advise everyone i know to STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE if you love your pet!

The first time I brought my dog in I was impressed that they checked for rabies,etc.Then the groomer came out and said he was so matted that he'd have to sit in detangler for 30 min.,and kept ratting the comb through his hair making it worse! We had a little disagreement about this and I left him there but felt very demeaned. When I picked him up the ears were uneven and he wasn't shaved the way I asked him to be shaved in certain places, but overall he looked good. The groomer didn't come out when I picked him up. Today was the second time I left him and had to give my instructions to the receptionist, as the groomer again didn't come out. I missed the call to come and pick him up, and then got an angry call 45 min. later saying that he had been there "for quite some time" and I needed to pick him up. I was charged extra for the time it took me to get there-fair enough,that's their policy. But the attitude of both owner and employee made me so angry both times,that I WILL NOT BE BACK.

I took my Shih Tzu Jinx to TT because my friend' Lhasa always looks so good. The receptionist was friendly, professional and asked ALOT of questions about exactly what I wanted. When I picked him up, I was amazed - he had never looked so beautiful. I arrived to pick him up a little early so I got to watch the last stage of his grooming on the monitor. The second time, he surprised me by happily going in the building - usually he balks going to the groomer. He came out looking beautiful again. And he was so happy - he KNEW he looked good!

This grooming salon is great! I brought my two golden retrievers there and they came out looking fabulous. I'm always concerned with groomers who don't give the dogs water or let them go to the bathroom, but you don't have to worry about this at Tailored Tails. They really care about your dogs! I was pregnant at the time and so I was rather forgetful and left my vaccination records for my dogs at home. When I told the receptionist, she just called over to my vet and got a verbal ok from them.

This business was recommended by a friend, so I gave it a try. The first time things seemed to go well. The second time not so much! The price went up for less work. Now I know why the prices aren't posted, so they can change the price when ever they feel like it. When I questioned the price change the staff was defensive. What ever happened to the customer is always write? My dog's hair cut was uneven and was covered in hair clippings - then so was I. That wasn't pleasant! This is probably why you must pay before you see your pet. The staff knew I was upset and still did nothing to try and resolve the situation. I then told them that I would not be returning -they didn't care. To top it off when another client walked in they then told me it would be best to look for another groomer - trying to make me look bad. They are a joke and only care about the money, not you or your beloved pet! Be careful!

My Shih Tzu just had his first grooming at TT today - I almost didn't try them because of the review above. But friends of mine use them and were happy, so I tried them out. The staff were so friendly, they asked so many questions about what trimming details I wanted, asked about my dog's personality, and let me watch on closed circuit tv when they started so I knew he was doing ok with them. When I picked him up, he looked like a movie star dog and was calm, not stressed out. I'm sold on this place-totally professional, clean, modeern = please disregard the rant above & give them a chance.

I have had my two Yorkiepooh/Wheaten Terriers at Tailored Tails on several occasions and have had nothing but good experiences. I've even had to take one of my dogs in when she was very matted, but the folks at Tailored Tails still worked with me and my dog looked and felt so much better. While a little pricey, I feel it is worth the extra money to insure my pups safety and gentle handling. I appreciate the friendly assistance by the front desk and grooming staff.

This is the worst dog grooming center that I have ever been to. Awful service and my dog left scared and shaking b/c they kept her there so long (6 hours and didn't let her use the restroom) and COMPLETELY DISREGARDED my specific requests for how to handle my dog. To the staff at Tailored Tails, please listen to the owners when they provide directions about their pet. You do not know everything about every type of dog and every dog is different. I have to say that I will never return to this groomers again and am sharing my horrible experience with others.

As a groomer I know that if your dog's ears were shaved there was a reason. Were the ears matted? Shaving them short was the only choice and the lighter feeling would make your dog shake them. Clippers will not cut thru tangled hair and the ear flap is too thin to try to de-mat the hair. Dogs can get a hematoma from shaking them too much. Groomers don't shave a dog's ears unless it's absolutely necessary or part of a Breed Standard haircut. There's no such thing as shaving them too short. Maybe you should look for another vet.
