OK but I think I'm out after three years..Pool area is noisy after hours in the summertime with people climbing the fences to swim at wee hours of the morning. Their response: call the cops. Also although I am not a pot smoker they recently put a lease amendment disallowing pot on the premises even though it is lawful to use within your own residence. Drunks and gun ownership yes..Pot notta.

I had a great experience until the last several months. The management has undertaken a very aggressive maintenance plan that causes constant mess, noise, and disruption. After they decided to stop posting notes on our doors, I didn't know they were painting the parking lot and couldn't find my car one day. I almost reported it stolen, when I went to the office and they told me where it was and how much I owed for the tow bill. After 2 and a half years, they change communication methods and it's MY fault and they refuse to take any responsibility. I'm moving and I wouldn't recommend making your home with this staff of bullies.

Nice place, but in the end they just care about making money.

My wife and I lived in Talon Hill apartments. Our experience while we were there was quite positive. The complex was beautiful, and we spent many Sundays out by the pool barbecuing and enjoying the sun. Our apartment was nice, and we rarely heard our neighbors. The staff was friendly and for typical requests was always very responsive and polite. We had two majors issues while we lived here. First, our neighbor smoked, a lot. He would keep his door open during nice days and there were very few days when we came home and didn't smell smoke. The worst part was that even though each apartment had separate ventilation systems, the duct work was shoddy and quite a bit of smoke leaked through the floor boards (our ceiling). Enough smoke that we were able to tell every time he was smoking and our heater or a/c was on. We brought this up 3 times to the staff and finally after months they sent someone over to check out our ventilation system. The maintenance person opened up the intake vent and mentioned how much it smelled like smoke. He said that it was likely coming from our neighbor as he was a heavy smoker. He changed our air filter and said he didn't know what else to do. I contacted the office and let them know the smoke issue was still not resolved. Not sure what happened this time, but I'm guessing they couldn't deny it anymore and within a week or so our neighbor had an eviction notice and was kicked out within a month. So overall an ok experience, yet I wish they had put some effort into solving the problem before we had to live with it for months. We had to break our contract because I got relocated for work. Just an FYI, expect to pay 4 months worth of rent if you need to leave immediately, and payback any promotions.Anyway, that wasn't the second issue, just a side comment, I think most people who live in apartments understand that breaking your contract is extremely costly. We turned our keys in about a month before our two months notice was up. Either the utility company was never called and cancelled or they had an error in their billing system. Not sure, but none the less, the next residents who lived in our apartment never started their utilities, and as we did not have a permanent address for forwarded mail, it was months before we got a bill from the utility company wanting us to pay for the other residents utilities. After many long and painful conversations with the utility company, they said there was no way they would transfer this bill to anyone else, that we were stuck with it. So obviously, we then went to Talon Hill to help us work through this situation. I talked with one of the office staff with whom I had worked with many times and trusted. After talking through every possible option, she agreed that if the utility company would forward our bill to them, they would pay the amount accumulated by the other residents to our account number.Once again, I want to emphasize how painful it was working with the utility company. After hours of talking to manager after manager they finally agreed to send our bill to Talon Hill, so Talon Hill could pay off the rest due on the account. Months went by and we thought Talon Hill paid the bill as discussed. Then we got a letter from a debt collector for the bill. I called Talon Hill left a message for the office staff I had worked with. The next day another office staff person called me back and said that I must have misunderstood, they never agreed to pay the bill, and that's why they didn't pay it.Anyway, I got their corporate number to work through the issue, and left three message for the corporate staff and they never called me back. If you are on the corporate staff, I'm sure you can figure out who I am and give me a call, I would love to speak with you about this situation, which 9 months after we moved out is s...

DO NOT RENT!

Do not rent at Talon Hills apartments. There is dog feces EVERYWHERE and the apartments are very poorly constructed, it sounds like wild elephants are above you when the people are just moving about normally. More importantly, the management, to include the parent company-Fogleman, are very uncompromising and unreasonable. We are active duty and have reported them to all local housing offices.
