Love this place

What a scrumptious treat! We ordered cupcakes and cake pops from Couture Cupcakes for our son's 1st birthday. We went back and forth on what the theme was going to be for the party, I think we drove the employees crazy - but they didn't have a problem with the numberous changes that we made. We ended up going with the Avengers theme, and we are so happy that we did. They did a fantastic job on the special treats. My wife was very surprised at the final product, only because I asked her to let me handle the details of the cake. I started with a cake, but ended up going wiht Cupcakes & Cake Pops. We didn't even know that there was such a thing as Cake Pops, but now we do. We will be using Couture Cupcakes for all of our special occasions from now on, they made me looks so good in to my wife - but my kids flipped out when they saw what i put together. Everyone that came to the party was impressed with the design and the way that they tasted. You should give them a try!

Horrible Customer Service Don't Waste your money

I went to Couture Cupcake for my son's first birthday. I was having a surfer boy/hawaiian theme and requested a two tier cake, the bottom was suppose to be blue and orange hawaiian flower print (which I asked them if they wanted me to bring in something with hawaiian flower print on it and they said no we know what hawaiian flower are) and the top was to be light blue with surfboards all the way around with a surfboard sticking out the top with a number 1, and of course it was to say happy birthday mason. They said I had to get it delievered since it was two tier so I paid the extra $10 to get it delievered at 12:00 and the party was at 1:00. At 12:30 she finally shows up and as she is putting the cake on the table I noticed a sign on it that said "surfer girl" as I was about to say something she asked me "how do you spell HER name?" I looked at her and said it's for Mason and he is a BOY....she then insisted that she was told it was for allison. I told her I knew they said it was for Mason because they asked me how to spell his name when I placed the order. So she then had to go back to the bakery to get the right letters for his name. Looking at the cake it only halfway what I had asked for. There were no hawaiian flowers on it just some girly looking one's and there were only 5 or 6 surfboards, and she had added purple flipflops (which I never asked for) and pink seashells on it.....since it was so close to the party we decided to over look the wrong decorations (what else was I going to do?). When it came time to eat the cake I told everyone what I had ordered, the top tier was red velvet with creamcheese frosting, and the bottom was to be chocolate brownie with chocolate carmel frosting, and we had a jumo cupcake (Mason's smash cake) that was chocolate with vanilla icing. When I gave my son his cupcake it was completely dry....and then when we cut the cake it wasn't even the right kind! The red velvet was correct, but the larger cake was not chocolate brownie with chocolate carmel frosting it was just plain chocolate cake with vanilla frosting! I was completely displeased with the cake, so I went back to the store to talk to the lady the next day. The kid working the counter said he had to call her, and told her what was going on. The phone call didn't even last a minute she just said no I will not refund them anything! She didn't even ask who the customer was or what cake it was. My mom asked when we could speak to her directly and he said she is there first thing in the morning to drop off cupcakes. So the next morning my mom went down there (I was too mad and knew I would lost it if I went) to talk to her directly. When she got there the lady was unloading cupcakes so my mom didn't want to be rude and make the cupcakes sit in the van so she waited for her to finish. When she was done my mom took the cake (what was left of the wrong cake) and went to go inside. The lady was waiting there at the door and would not even let my mom in the store. As my mom was telling her what was wrong she simply said no that was right there was nothing wrong with that cake. So my mom stepped aside her and put the cake on the table and told her thanks for nothing....and she responded your welcome! It was the worst customer service experience I have ever had! I went to them because they were rated the best in the springs 2010, 2011, and 2012....they are far from the best! The cake didn't even taste that good, Betty Crocker is better than them! Not to mention the cake cost me $123, when I talked to another baker in town he said that if they messed a cake up they would pay for the cake and give them a gift card....
