Founded in 1998, Trailblazer Elementary School provides academic instruction and enrichment programs to more than 320 students in kindergarten through grade five. The school manages a parent-teacher association that sponsors fundraising events. It administers special education, English Language Learners, accelerated reader, and gifted and talented programs, as well manages a media center. Trailblazer Elementary School also offers instruction in reading, math, orchestra, music, band and physical education. The school provides health care and food services. In addition, it manages a student council and chess club. Trailblazer Elementary School is one of the educational institutes governed by Colorado Springs School District 11.
