Real Wood, Real Quality, Real Value.CO Lumber was started in 1983 by Dick and Terri Conine. It's purpose was to serve as a retail source of lumber, hardwood and moulding for professional woodworkers, builders and hobbyists alike. In the early 90's Unfinished Furniture Warehouse was introduced as an outlet for quality, real wood furniture. In September 2001, Rocky Mountain Cabinets Inc., owned by Trevor and Trish Ghee, purchased CO Lumber/UFW with respect for the solid community presence it was, and a vision for what it could become. Our mission is to offer quality wood and wood related products; along with a knowledgeable and helpful sales staff. Our showroom and warehouse are centrally located one block east of Nevada and three blocks north of Fillmore. We offer delivery service anywhere in El Paso, Teller, Pueblo and surrounding counties. We accept Visa, Master Card, Discover, cash and checks. Contractors and builders have the option for credit accounts billed monthly. We offer active military discounts and for the younger family members, we have a kid's play area!

Great store

CO Lumber is a great store. They have a wide variety of unfinished furniture, a unique selection of hardwoods and several full kitchen cabinet lines. We've purchased some of each. I highly recommend them to my family and friends.

One star too many

Once upon a time, I was a customer. A very small volume customer, but at least I purchased almost all of my hardwood and some hardwood plywood from them. This was back when the "first cut" on sheet goods (so that I could get it in my car) was no charge. Then one day I heard they had eliminated the "first cut free" practice. I needed some sheet goods, so I called to see if there was going to be a charge. I was told the first cut was free. When I got there, I picked out my sheet goods, asked for the cut, was told there was a $2.00 charge for the cut. I told them I had called just that morning and was told otherwise. To paraphrase, the response was along the lines of how wrong I was and I was probably lying.I needed the goods, so I paid the price but never returned for a long time. Then, not having learned my lesson, I went back. I picked up three sheets of hardwood plywood and asked to have them cut to fit in my car. When I went to pay, I found that they had doubled their first
