Very rude and discriminate towards a seemingly younger crowd. I'm 26 and got called a stupid kid. I wasn't even talking to them. They must be desperate for business to be threatening anyone not immediately buying from them as a waste of time. Would not recomend

this was the worst experience i had with a tattoo shop. when i first went in and spoke with Brian he was very helpful and friendly. I was impressed.

I put down $100 and left under the impression that Chris, the tattoo artist was going to contact me when he had the artwork partially done. Mind you I was looking into a 1/2 to full sleeve piece costing a couple thousand.

Four weeks later I still did not hear from anyone. I stopped by to look at the drawing and was FAR from impressed. It wasnt what I had drew out with Brian in a simple sketch. So I began having doubts about westside, but thought maybe I need to communicate better to Chris what I wanted. I asked the front desk people to let him know I stopped in, gave my number and another four weeks later.... still no call. I called last week asking how I could get my deposit $ back, b.c. by this point I was NOT impressed. They explained that I could get 80 or the 100 back... I was fine with that, I did waste three minutes of their time, I mine as well pay $20. ;)

I went into Westside Tattoo on Colorado Ave. today asking for the refund. I got some weird looks, some questioning as to weather I could get my momney back or not, but was finally told I could get my $80. I wanted to explain why I wanted to get my $ back... anyone who takes pride in their profession would want feedback, right? Well... Brian and the female who "assisted" me today did not want my feedback I guess. They became extremley defensive, condesending in their tone of voice, cutting me off and overall very rude. I walked away laughing, I was in disbelief that this place has gotten good feedback.

MORAL OF STORY:

If you give Westside Tattoo your money, shut your mouth and treat them like royalty ... they MAY be nice to you.

But dont have an opinion going into THIS tattoo shop.

YIKES!

Hopefully they learn what customer service is and not worry so much about the $$$$ that comes into their shop... Its not all about image.
