DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD HERE THEY ARE NOT RELIABLE! After 3 years of enrollment, things went sour fast. One of their lead staff members Jordan was pretty snobby throughout the time we were enrolled so it came as no surprise she was the one who told the director I put in my resignation from the daycare when I did not. She was the one that said I needed to find a new daycare which was insane telling someone paying your mortgage to find another place to go. Being a single parent is not the easiest tasks I've done. I contacted the director who sent the information to my CCAP provider without my knowledge and I found out when my mom tried dropping my son off and was informed he was disenrolled. Their utter lack of communication and rejecting of children is outrageous and ongoing not just for me. While I was trying to fix the miscommunication the director made various comments about me being ugly. I also never got an apology for their behavior or the inconvenience.

Amazing teachers and mangement. My little guy has been attending YSA for over a year. He always comes home with new skills and so eager to tell me about his day.

I have worked for young scholars academy for 3 years and I wish there was a center like YSA around when my kids were in child care. We are all about teaching our children . Ysa is a home away from home. Everyone is loved and is an equal.

The infant classes are wonderful with is why I had 2 stars of expertise and faculty but the preK rooms are awful and the head staff is uncommunicative incorporative and down right rude. My child has never been treated in such a way as he was here and we are a military family we have seen a lot! I would not leave my dying dog with Melanie and the director Jen is just absent constantly.

The owner, Jane Germano, was once a teacher of mine in junior high school. She is a horrible person who I wouldnt let around a teenager let alone a pre-schooler. Honestly my jaw hit the floor when i saw she was the owner of this place. Shes rude, mean, nasty and quite frankly she tends to single the kids out she doesnt like for whatever her reasons. (I speak from personal experience). Beware of this woman!!

I know this is long but please read to the bottom! Within the first week my son hurt himself 3 different times. One of them was because they let a large chair fall on him and knock him to the ground. My daughter(4) wears hearing aids and wears them with no fuss nor does she ever take them out herself..... they would take them off and place them in her backpack, or pocket, while she was there (and she has to wear them at all times). We were overcharged (and not by a little, our balance was 0 and the next week when we went to pay it was $2000) and set up 4 different meetings with the staff to get it resolved. Upon each meeting day we would arrive and "something would come up" to where they couldn't meet with us so we could go over the bill. On the final meeting date that we had scheduled we arrived at 8, they once again told us that they couldn't meet because they were short staffed and we were told we would get a call later that day to set up another appointment.....we got the call form the OWNER.....stating that she refused to meet with us, that we owed the money, that we would be paying the entire amount and there was nothing to question. ( I have the voice mail saved). Now, I work for a large company in Springs and I handle all of the billing and collections. I would NEVER treat our clients like that, even if I thought our billing was correct I would still sit down and go through it with them to ensure they were comfortable in knowing what they were paying for, let alone a random $2000 charge. And last but not least, I did find a wonderful new daycare for my kiddos, and after being there for a week, I ran into a lady that used to work for the Young Scholars Academy. She stated to me that the way things were run there were horrible, kids were treated unfairly and she being pregnant at the time would NEVER allow her kid to go there so she quit. Hope this helps someone :)

The best!

My son has been going here since we moved to Colorado a few years back and I couldn't ask for better people to care for him. He loves all of the teachers and they treat him like their own. The summer program is great and I really love the organic food being served in the food program. YSA is definitely above the rest!

I am writing as a former student of Young Scholars Academy. I can say with complete confidence that this center shaped my character and gave me knowledge later in my school years. I started in the preschool program at Young Scholars at the age of 4 and attended for years until is was too old (to my dismay). In those years I learned sign language, Spanish, math and science, you want it they teach it! What I loved and remember vividly was my teachers, friends and the Summer Camp they offered. I LOVED IT! If you want to have your child experience culture and view the world around them I recommend this program . During the summer camp we went on hikes, museums, summer swim lessons, parks, did pottery, it was absolutely amazing! One time our teacher gave us ostrich when we were doing our around the world curriculum! Yuck, but it was still fun and memorable! I will never forget my summer camp years and preschool years at Young Scholars! Going to visit YSA after all these years I am completely impressed by the classiness of the center as well as the educated curriculum that is incorporated every day. When I have children I will by no doubt in my mind send my child here in hopes that they will grow into the person we all wish to be! I would give more stars if I could!
