This is going to be a long rev...

This is going to be a long review. I stayed here for two years, and I had everything go wrong that could go wrong.

In the first year that I lived there, there was one major flood that covered half the living room. The flood was so bad we had to put planks on the floor to cross the apartment. It took several days to get fixed. I had intended to move out, but I failed to check my lease and see that they have a 60-day notice. On day 59 they posted a notice on my door telling me that I had to renew my lease or pay a fee. So, I stayed another year. In this year, the place totally fell apart.

First, the third floor flooded and dripped down to my apartment resulting in a giant bubble in the ceiling, which eventually exploded onto my kitchen counter. The ceilings in my closet began to have mold patterns where the pipes in the walls leaked condensation. The light fixture in the ceiling *streamed* water at times. Then, there was another flood - this time, it leaked into my main closet from the utility closet. I called it in, and they came out and "fixed" it a few days later. The flood happened again two weeks later. They "fixed" it again. In the meantime, the closet itself had filled with mold because the apartment was so dark and dank. On the second fix, they painted over the mold after I told them they failed to clean it up the first time. Two weeks later, it flooded AGAIN. I called them and told them whatever they are doing was not working. They came in and ripped the wall out of the closet, revealing a film of black mold. A few WEEKS later after nothing had been done I stormed into the office with the maintenance person and they pretended not to know about it. The maintenance person claimed he brought a plumber and nobody could figure it out. Maintenance followed me to my apartment, shined a flashlight into the open hole in the wall, and said "oh, I see it now. a pinhole leak!". They left the wall open and never patched it up. Which was great, because I was able to see when new leaks were starting! When I told the office I could see when water was coming down the wall because they were nice enough to leave the moldy wall open, they patched it up.

The whole debacle wasn't resolved for about 2-3 months.

They replaced the pipe after that, but the fun didn't end. The ancient washing machine adjacent to my apartment gave out and flooded the laundry room. I complained, and nobody fixed it. The nasty water with rice mixed into it flooded the front of my apartment. Then, it flooded into the back closet, causing more mold. When they eventually cleaned all that up, the flood in my entryway persisted. I told them about it, and they came and found out my dishwasher had failed and was flooding the entryway and under the kitchen tiles.

Oh, and there was a shrew living in the walls. He'd come out occasionally to say hi. Very cute. The termites would come out of the walls outside when there was a good rain.

The grounds were not well-kept. The place looks like a wreck, and smells like cats in the apartment halls. There is no parking because they wanted a little extra cash and made designated 'visitor' parking and charged $5 for a parking pass. The visitors were given ridiculous amounts of parking so residents had nowhere to park.

If you move here after reading this review, you might need to invest in a good shrink. I left after the second year.
