I called the office this morning, per the recommendation of my vet. Last evening, I found a puppy without tags or a microchip. I called HoCo Animal Control to see if perhaps the owner had called in to report the missing pup. The woman answering the phone and taking down my information was rude and condescending to me. Here I am trying to be a Good Samaritan, and she was making snide remarks about not only my description of the dog, but about my vet not giving me an estimate of its age (I was just grateful that the staff at my vet's office took the time out of seeing paying patients to scan the pup for a chip). Really disappointed in the whole experience, and people should realize that staff answering phones are representative of the business or organization as a whole.
