It All Began with Two Guys and a Copier Matt Richardson and Rob Harrison, former managers of a major retail copy chain, founded Indigo Ink in 2003. Frustrated by the challenges of serving corporate and business clients in a retail environment, they believed that if they started a copy and print business that focused solely on business and business owners, they would fill a critical void in the marketplace. While dining at a wonderful restaurant in San Diego called The Indigo Grill, Matt and Rob committed to start their business - to deliver the highest quality print and copy products to business partners with the best customer care, quickly and cost-effectively, and without the interference of retail traffic and large corporate overhead. Impossible to achieve? Not for these two business leaders and innovators! They returned to Maryland with big ideas, lots of enthusiasm and a new company name, all born out of a fantastic brainstorm while noshing at a California eatery. Beginning with two guys, a copier, a table with no chairs, and an 850-squarefoot office space, they were in business! Within just a few years, the Indigo Ink team has grown to more than 10 dedicated team members. We have acquired the best digital printing technology and equipment available, and are housed in a spacious, customer-friendly office space that occupies more than 5,000-square-feet. A few chairs are even available, though they are not used very often! Matt and Rob's ideas became much, much more than notes on a restaurant napkin. Their drive and determination to "make it happen" in the competitive digital printing industry has helped hundreds of customer partners in Howard County, and throughout the Baltimore/ Washington region, grow and succeed.
