Founded in 1896, Benton Elementary School provides a range of academic services to more than 250 students in pre-kindergarten through grade five. It offers classes in reading, writing, science, math, English, music, social studies, computer technology, physical education and language arts. The school provides Title I and special education programs for gifted and talented students. It maintains a library media center that stocks books, periodicals and newspapers, as well as provides links to search engines.
