Apparently, when I tried to update this review, YP deleted the review I previously posted on 12/15/15 in which I told parents not to consider having their children rent from District Flats. We were double charged for August rent. I attempted to resolve the matter, but instead the manager threatened to evict my son during mid terms, so I paid the disputed amount. Although Kelly, the previous manager, has been relieved of her position, I have heard from current tenants who say the management is just as bad as it was under Kelly.

I filed a complaint with the Missouri Attorney General because of the August, 2015 rent double charge. I had previously tried to resolve the issue with the manager, who first hung up on me and then refused to return my phone calls. I wrote a letter to corporate which was never answered. Not only were we reimbursed for the double charged rent, but so were 14 other students. Since DF refused to do a final walk through on the apartment but charged $200 for cleaning, I also asked for and received a reimbursement for funds withheld from the deposit.
