Son with a family history of mental health issues (bipolar and depression) was hospitalized after detailed planning of suicide. He tells them that he is fine and does everything they say in order to get out of there, 15 year olds are smart enough to figure that out. And they buy it!! Call me (mom) and say that there is no signs of depression or bipolar and no medication is needed that behavior therapy will work. To the point of telling Me (his mom) that I am not bipolar when the social worker has never even met me face to face. And no signs of depression in a child that had a detailed plan of suicide, you have to be f&cking kidding me!!!! If you are looking for somewhere to take your child, avoid this place and make the drive to SSM St. Joseph in Wentzville, MO. Well worth the drive for true help!
