They suck. I didn't pay my water bill once (because it was suddenly 200 and they told me send in paperwork to prove a pipe broke, still cut it off) and they came out at 7 am to cut it off. I bought a house and today is day five waiting for them to come turn my water on. Yes, that's right, 5 days. 3 kids, no water and having to rent a hotel so we can shower and use the bathroom right after buying a house. Let's see if they actually manage to make it out today. Every day I call and there is "nothing try can do" to ensure my service vets activated any faster it just depends on when the technician gets around to it.....

Wrong number!

I called in reference to a 2-point speeding ticket my husband got last month. This IS the correct address, as listed on the speeding ticket, but when I called the number to speak to a City Representative, I was directed to a personal voicemail. I left a message and a lady called me back; she stated she works with Verizon and is neither employed with nor in any way affiliated with the City of Columbia.



I did eventually reach a City employee, however, and notified her of the discrepancy. She informed me that only Columbia City Government agencies were supposed to have a phone number with the numerical prefix 545- and assured me that the matter would be investigated and corrected promptly.
