Pine Grove Elementary School is operated by the Richland County School District One. The school, based in Columbia, S.C., offers educational services to more than 400 students in grades kindergarten through five. It employs more than 30 classroom teachers to provide instruction in various subjects, including arts and music, physical and special education, Spanish and computers. The school offers a variety of programs, such as advanced academic program, special education resource program, speech services, chorus and accelerated reading program. It also offers several other programs, including tutoring, community child care associates after care program, early success reading and success reading programs. The school has a parent-teacher association that supports school events. Its extracurricular activities include a student council and art club.
