I'm from South Florida and I shop where "Shopping is a Pleasure" about 90 percent of the time. When travelling, I seek out Publix as it's a known quantity.

Driving west on I-26 - just east of Harbison Blvd - I saw an exit sign for Publix. One of those blue traffic signs that individually advertise food, gas, and lodging at the next exit. Now I've never been to this particular Publix, but the sign was calling for me to exit. After all, it was lunch time and I had been driving for almost 8 hours. I was also hungry.

Following the street signs, I quickly found myself at the Columbana Station Publix. A large parking lot with tons of parking, I also needed to use the restroom. They were clean and well kept.

Later finding myself at the deli, Amanda inquired as to how she could help me. I ordered the Publix chicken tender sub as it was on sale for $6.99. A bit of small talk and I was quickly on my way. Amanda was friendly and polite.

The chicken tender sub was made to order. I even upgraded to the combo meal since I saved $2.00 on the sandwich and was on the road for another 2 hours.

Checking out with the front-end (Melissa, I believe) manager at customer service, I complimented her on the cleanliness of the store and Amanda. My order was rung up and another dollar was deducted as the combo meal was on sale as well, with a coupon. I love coupons.

My favorite supermarket of all time! Publix has the best selection with great prices and this location has the most helpful staff. Try anything from the bakery, you won't be disappointed.

This Publix has been a very good grocery store. Pretty clean and has nice employees. I was disappointed recently that an order I had made in the deli had not been prepared when I went to pick it up. The manager helped me by substituting an item at the same price as my original order. The item manager substituted cost more than my original order. So, they made it right. Good going, Publix.
