Daughter stopped in the rain on the way to class today to get $10 gas on Pump 9. Gas stopped pumping at $9, so she had to go back inside to get the pump cut back on for her last $1 in gas. Clerk that screwed up the sale argued with her. She pointed out that she gave him $10 for Pump 9 and got NO CHANGE from him. After a few words back and forth where she asked for the gas or her $1 back, another clerk told her to restart the pump and she could pump the rest of her gas. As she was leaving the store, the original clerk that helped her said "just next time use your card". WHAT - IS CASH NO GOOD IN THEIR STORE?? OR IS THIS CLERK JUST NOT BRIGHT ENOUGH TO KNOW HOW TO HANDLE CASH?? Needless to say, she will NOT be stopping at that store again for ANYTHING. Nor will I.
