Provided by YP.comI visited this Walmart location with my son today. We did not purchase anything because we could not get anyone to sell it to us. There was only one associate working in the automotive center, and I've seldom seen a cashier move so slowly. I was attempting to purchase an auto amplifier for my son's car stereo, and the sale would have been well over $200.00. We waited a total of 30 minutes, and then the associate finally came to the stereo section and waited on someone who had not been there as along as we had. I did ask her if she could simply unlock the glass case and hand the amplifier to us so that we could pay for it. She said no, she couldn't do that.
This is unacceptable for far too many reasons. The first reason being that I was not there to steal the amplifier, and I resent the fact that I couldn't have the part handed to me to wait at the register with unless we were under guard. The second reason being the total absence of department managers. A Saturday and the automotive section is a very busy place. Not only was one slow associate not enough to handle the level of business, I saw no managers in evidence so apparently they are not concerned with how long we wait or how poorly we are treated. The fact that you expect anyone to wait more than a half hour to make a single item purchase is absolutely reprehensible. The attitude and the look on the associates face and tone of voice brought me to an abrupt end of my patience, and I left with my money.
We left Walmart and visited the local BestBuy, where we were cordially greeted, promptly assisted by knowledgeable staff, and thanked for our business. And at no point was anything locked up nor were we kept under guard as though we might experience a sudden overwhelming urge to shoplift. Kudos to this company for a superior level of customer service.
I do fully understand that shoplifting costs retail stores a great deal of money each year. The cost unfortunately is passed on to the consumer. However, it does not give retail management the right to treat people as though every shopper who comes through the doors is about to steal something. There is not much I can do about the store policies or their surly associates, but there is something I can do with my money. I can spend it where I'm treated with respect and common courtesy.

Provided by YP.comThis Walmart has been the worst one that I have ever been too.The shelves are never stoked and you can never find someone to help you.The customer Service is horriable the lines are always long and the meat almost never looks fresh.

Provided by YP.comThis Walmart is ok. Store is alittle dirty and employees are ok they somewhat know what they are doing. Could be more organized.
