After receiving your application at corporate headquarters in Plano, TX, you will receive a member information guide and membership identification card which you present to any AmeriPlan healthcare provider to receive discounted fees. What are the Healthcare Provider Discount Rates? The discount rates are determined by either a set fee schedule the provider has contracted, or as a percentage off their billed charges. Typically, discounts will vary between 15% and 50% but labs and diagnostics will be up to 80%. Who are the Dental, Medical, Vision, Chiropractic and Prescription Drug providers? AmeriPlan USA has one of the largest networks of healthcare providers in America including tens of thousands of medical practitioners, more than 75,000 dentists, 12,000 vision care providers, 56,000 pharmacies and over 7,500 chiropractors. What is the Hospital Advocacy Program? This program is designed to help our members with their medical bills when a single hospital visit totals $2,500. For the insured, this is the amount you’re personally responsible for, besides your deductible, and can be incurred from multiple providers. The patient advocate negotiates on behalf of the patient and pursues a range of options from payment plans to government entitlement programs. There is a waiting period of three business days from the active date of your membership to utilize this program. The AmeriPlan Healthcare member has a choice of which hospital will be used
