Gentry Machine Works, Inc. is a family owned business established in 1950 to supply replacement gears to the textile industry. From its modest beginnings as a one man operation, it has expanded its business base to include all types of general machine work in addition to its specialty in gear production. Industries served include but are not limited to, foundries, sawmills & planing mills, boiler manufacturers, automotive power train components, box & container manufacturers, foundries, aircraft manufacturers, and bakery & cookie manufacturers. The company is located in the East Columbus Industrial Park at 5110 Transport Blvd., Columbus, Georgia. The facility has 32,000 sq. ft of shop floor space and 2400 sq. ft. of office space.
