I was a previous Kia owner, so I returned when I was looking at trading my vehicle in. I thought I had talked the cost of my vehicle down, so I got financed through my credit union. I was expecting a refund check from Kia for the cancellation of my GAP coverage and warranty from the vehicle I was trading in, and both my sales person, Aaron Dixon, and myself told the finance officer, Royce Townsend, that I did not want to use my refund as a down payment. I wanted to receive that refund separately.

Well, you guessed it; Royce and the financing dept used my refund as a down payment. I returned to Kia and Royce told me that the cost of my vehicle was because of me using that for warranty refund as a down payment. I asked him did he not remember that both I and Aaron Dixon, the salesman told him I did not want that to go as a down payment. I wanted that as a separate refund check. Royce claims he doesn't remember that and the GM, Clay Green ok'd it. I now have an attorney representing me.

We drove about 90 minutes to get there because the Internet said they closed at 8 today. We arrived at 6 and they said they were closing. It was obvious from the start that they didn't want to sell a car, they just wanted to go home. Both the salesman and sales manager argued with us for 5-10 minutes about a situation until they saw the documents we had brought along with us. First off, don't they know the customer is always right even when they're wrong? Then they tried telling us the value they came up with on our trade came from Carfax and it said it was worth $2200 now mind you NADA, KBB and Black Book all state the vehicle is worth between 8500-10500. When I questioned that carfax doesn't give car values then it changed to nada. So I showed them the average rating on nada was 8500. Oh then suddenly they changed their mind and said the value came from something called Hyrum and then finally they said they gave us auction value. I Googled Hyrum and the only thing I could find was an auto auction in Logan Utah. Oh and when I showed the sales manager the nada value he got smart with me and said click the button to buy it and have it delivered to your door. Really??? Who gets that rude with their customers? It's a good thing we aren't stationed at Ft Benning or I would try to have them blacklisted with the post.

I called Kia of Columbus on box road and asked for help with my vehicle I went there and they looked at my vehicle and sent me to Kia of Columbus on Whittlesey rd, there I waited over an hour for assistance and when I was finally helped the woman told me that it was 30 minutes til closing and no one was available to assist me. I was so upset I had called both locations earlier that day and they both said I did not need an appointment. It was the worse service I had ever received, I drove to south lake over an hour away and it was a simple 15 minute fix.
