A few weeks back, I visited the Maple Mart Party Shop in Columbus, GA to purchase a bottle of wine. I then proceeded to the front counter to check out. Immediately, the particular cashier working that evening made the comment, "What the hell did you do to your hair, son?" Furthermore, when I handed him my debit card to complete this purchase, he made another derogatory comment along the lines of, "Better not break a fingernail." I not only find this to be extremely rude, but also completely and totally unacceptable. It is my opinion that a person who makes these types of disparaging remarks to a store's customers has no business whatsoever in a customer service position.



As a result of this incident, I have decided to no longer patronize this business. If this particular cashier treats other customers the way he treated me, I have no doubt that more people will choose to do the same.
