I have been a patient at Nexus Pain Center for many years. I generally have seen Dr. Prinsell and he always gets to point and said’s, “Let’s do it” if something different needs to be done. He suggested that I see the newest doctor on staff because he treats migraines. He does Botox injection. I started seeing Dr. Akbary and he did a couple injections in the cervical region and lumbar region. I have three more appointments scheduled for treatment in the cervical and lumbar regions. Dr. Akbary spends the time needed with you for appointments that is needed. No rushing. He has the ability to make you laugh while he is inflicting pain upon you. He does follow-ups after each procedure done to make sure all is well. So far I have not had a problem seeing him for appointments instead of a Physician Assistant. What more can you ask for? #Expert#Good Facility#Very Professional

Being on constant opiods can be quite a challenge.
I first saw Dr Chang, who was very helpful in explaining that I was not a candidate for the new appliances which ease pain without drugs, but monthly, would renew my prescriptions for the medication I had been using for over twenty years. I began seeing PA's after several months and again was treated in a very caring and professional manor.
I made the decision to want to come off Fentanyl transdermal meds. The non opiod drug Emory tried to assist my pain issues caused terrible side effects, so I came off them and consulted my PA Magenia. She as available to me anytime I needed to speak to her and when I decided to reduce the amount of Norco, also an opiod, she showed me how to stretch my monthly allotment of pills to last for more than a month. I am now using less than I have used in twenty years!
The kind and caring attitude of the operator who schedules appointments has been AMAZING. She is aware that I need pain meds and when I have had to miss an appointment, she gets me another as quickly as possible. The nurses and technicians are equally as helpful.
I am treated like a very important person and have never experienced the things written by others.
many people "shop" doctor for drugs. This is NOT a place where narcotics are freely prescribed, but an office where your health will be well taken care of.
As with every profession, there might be a day where an employee might be dealing with bad news, or not feeling well. Giving understanding and kindness to them might alleviate any rudeness which might have been misconstrued by a patieent. Bottom line is this is a very impressive pain management center and I am continually grateful for all who work there.

The doctors here are pretty good however dealing with the staff is outright atrocious. The better than you rude attitude will definitely make you happy to go elsewhere.

If you ever a have a prescription issue you need to wait for the triage nurse to call you with 48 hrs. I never received a call from her. The do not care if you have issues.
