I have lived here for about 1 year and have enjoyed my time. The grounds are kept up very well and the apartments are well maintained. The office staff are very helpful to me finding different locations around town to grocery shop restaurants etc..Very close to Ft. Benning is a plus.

Our experience with The Lakes has not been pleasurable at all. The collection of rent is not accounted for accurately. They are very impersonal, by that I mean that they'd rather stick notes on your door rather than give you a call or ask you to meet with them at the office. The notes are sometimes personal in nature and in our case was a terrible mistake on their behalf. They did not seem sincere or apologetic after finding that they wrongly accused us of negligence. Also, being that the complex is encompassed by a large lake, the rodents seem to be a regular occurance. And when you call the after hour maintenance personnel, they do not handle your requests with professionalism or with high regard and their response time is very slow. The only good thing I have to say about The Lakes is that the grounds are kept clean, the neighborhood is very quiet and the floor plans are very spacious.
