I took my car to Walter as a friend suggested to have my front end completely worked on. Inner and outer tie rods needed to be replaced along with my brakes and other stuff. I spent over $1,100 with him. He handed me the keys showed me what all he did and said the car was good to good. On my way home my car was still making noise as if he never touched it. Being upset my Chrysler 300 Limited sounded like a piece of crap after $1,100 I took it back. They figured the problem was noise from my brakes so Walter said he replace them himself with the best brakes they have. I left thinking it's got to be fixed now. Well I had to take it back again and drive him around so he could hear the noise he said he knew exactly what it was and he could fix it because his work is guaranteed. Now when I took my car up there all these times I would leave the car so he would have plenty of time to work on it so he would not need to rush. So I went back to pick my car up again it's still made the sound that he heard before but all the sudden he went deaf and could no longer hear it.

I refuse to take my car back to him again I took my car somewhere else and they said that my brakes were cheap brakes and that the brakes were not put on properly.

I'm writing this review because he does not stand by his word he does lie and I would not even take a lawn mower to him. And he had the nerve to get upset with me for being agitated. Keep in mind I paid $1,100 for it to be fixed properly! I don't want someone else to be in my situation I have a very low income after my divorce and now a car that looks great but sounds like crap. He said the noise would go away if I broke the brakes in well now it's time to replace the brakes after they have chewed up my rotors therefore he lied and cost me more money and he said there was nothing else he could do for my car. My suggestion don't use Walts tire and auto because you never know if he's going to fix it or lie to you.

My daughter brought her car into Walters ,today she picked it up and it is running beautifully. Walter and his son run a hometown business and they are more than fair with their prices. Treat you with respect and just friendly good guys who happen to be great at what they do. I can recommend this business with 5 stars.

I have taken my car in three times. They are really nice and called me a few days after the work was done. The only problem i have with them is , after they fixed what i brough the car in for, something else went wrong. I just had work done last week and now i have my abf and trac lights on.They were not on before the work was done, and one of the guys up front test drove the car before i left. I don't know if there is a honest mecanic in columbus.

i just took my baby 89 camaro there and these guys where great actually respectable and honest did not try to rip ,me off or shot me some b.s also being a d.i.y these guys work on all types of vehicles from vettes to vw this is where everyone needs to go they actually have real car guys in there that likes the sound of a engine

This is a very friendly and affordable place to get your brakes fixed. I had my brakes replace a couple of months ago and could not ask for a better place to go. The owner and other mechanic I dealt with were super nice! They even called a few days after my service to make sure everything was still okay. Who does that anymore?!!!? Definitely will be a return customer and would definitely recommend to others!
