My husband and I are over the road truckers and we asked if we could park and sleep in the lot. It is a small town and that is the only place to park. They said yes. It was an older woman and her daughter sitting outside smoking cigarettes and cussing like crazy. We laughed it off. About an hour later the younger one came to the truck and said they would give us a discount to stay. They had already given my husband a sob story about how they had just bought the place and we're struggling, blah blah. So we agreed to stay. The first thing we noticed is that the hallways were filthy. We get to our room and I immediately look for bed bugs. Thank goodness, no bed bugs! The bathroom floor was coated in a layer of hair and dirt, but I put a towel down and the shower was clean. The sheets were clean, so we went ahead and decided we would just go to sleep. The floors in the room hadn't been vacuumed in ages. There were candy wrappers on the floor! Dirt everywhere! I opened up the cabinet and they're was a pair of dirty boots in there! Ok, back to going to sleep. We laid down. About an hour later my husband jumped out of bed. He said a bug had run across his chest and when he woke up or was on my arm and he batted it off. We couldn't find it, but we deduced that it was some sort of black beetle. So we were going to lay down in the other bed. As we stood there in shock, one crawled across that bed! So I took out my flashlight to look. They were everywhere! I called the front desk and told the woman who answered and all she had to say was "ew!" when I told her that we were going back to sleep in our truck and wanted our money back she tools me that I had to wait for management in the morning. My husband was still hesitant to ask for a refund because he felt bad for the old lady. The next morning I went in to talk to management and I was asked, 'how long are you in the room?' why didn't you come down to the desk? I proceeded to explain that I called, but they knew that! Turns out it was the old lady that had answered my call! I explained to the Mexican woman about the filth, the bugs, the boots, all of it. I was call right up until they called me a liar. I waited while the Mexican lady snickered and called some man on the phone and said he would be in to talk to me at one pm. That he was the only one who could issue me a refund. We ended up actually going up to the room! Finally, once we came back down the Mexican lady gave our money back after I threatened to call the health department! This took over half an hour. The old lady was just the house keeper! A bad one at that! Don't stay here! It's disgusting and getting a refund was ridiculous!

Clean. Nice friendly people. Always working out of town so have been in alot of motels and this one is ok.
