My hairstylist of 5 years, recently applied for a rental property with Cross Current. She was denied the house because she is self employed. She went on by saying, they do not require a credit check, but require a check stub. My hairstylist proof of income were her prior year tax papers, which were useless to them. I don't understand how a person who works for minimum wage for a month, and subject to quit any time,can qualify. But, a self employed person who has tax copies from the last five years does not. My stylist, also managed a small business that recently closed last year. She has verified employment, for an employee who rented a house through Cross Current. The business paid cash. Therefore, this young lady did not provide any type of proof. I think they are not organized and I will not recommend anyone to them.
