I an a long time professional guitarist who has toured extensively and have been to many luthiers. Mike is awesome. He does great work and is very reasonable on price and if you are like me and need your guitar or amp repaired asap because you have a gig in 2 days he is the only one I have ever known to get yours knocked out first because he understands being a long time touring musician himself. Take it from a pro, this is the best place to have your guitars worked on!

This a small business owner that I have been acquainted with since the early 1980s. Trust is a big factor here. Don't expect bankers hours or fast turn around time. Do expect top notch repair work, unequaled tube inventory and personalized treatment. Mike Cox has kept his head above water somehow, and I like supporting this business. He is a skilled luthier for any stringed instruments, with special training in violins and guitars.

His shop is homey, and I always leave having learned something new.
