Amerikare is an ok place to start with if your right out of school, lots of young EMTs work there. very laid back, yet, you have a suggested off time, your work hours are not set. Lots of dialysis transports of patients to and from, and pick up patients from nursing homes to doctors, or from Dr transport back to nursing home. Patients are heavy, so make sure you can lift 200 lbs. If your right out of school, and looking for a laid back job, where the employees do not respect or follow the owners rules, this is the place for you.
