I had been a patient of Dr. B's since 2007, but had not been sick over the past few years, so I had not been in to see her. Dr B is a great doctor, but the staff and procedures at Eastpointe need reviewed.
I tried to schedule an appointment so I could get a referral to see my endocrinologist. I was told by the staff that I would have to wait almost 6 months for a 'new patient' appointment. Since I knew my thyroid was going wild and no longer in remission, this was not acceptable, and I was shocked that I was dropped as a patient for being healthy with no notice at all.
After a migraine that sent me to the ER, I called back in tears, and Marcellous finally checked on a 'new patient' appointment with a different doctor. I was going to see Dr Williams in a week and a half.
After arriving for my appointment early, I waited for almost 45 minutes after my scheduled time to see the doctor. Not only did she not apologize for being so behind, but she seemed rushed and did not address the page long log of weird things going on with my body that tracked over the past month.
When I was at the desk getting my referral information, they could not find my prescription. As they were looking through the trash, I saw my log IN THE TRASH! What a waste of time. As I was checking in, I specifically said to Marcellous that the log on the back of the first sheet of new patient info needed to be in my chart for the doctor, but I learn after my appointment is over HE THREW IT IN THE TRASH!
Again, Dr B is great, but unfortunately since I am no longer a patient due to not being sick and being in all the time, I will not return to see her or ANY doctors at Eastpointe. Very disappointing visit!
