Provided by YP.comWe lived here before moving into our new house. Our experience living here overall was what we made it. We kept in our corner and left mangement in theirs. The problem is, every now and again you would need them for something and in that regard our experience is mediocre. They would respond to you but quickly informed you they had up to 24 hours from the time you called to do so. Which meant when our air conditioner stopped working in 80 degree temps we had to suffer through it until they responded the following day. We got a taste of how strictly they adhere to the terms of the lease when we were in the apartment only a week. We were served a notice of being in violoation of our lease agreement because we had not submitted proof of owning a fire extinguisher or renters insurance. Please remember we had only been there one week. Prior to moving in our insurance carrier worked directly with the leasing office in establishing our policy because you are required to carry a certain amount of insurance for each building and they got that information directly from management, so once our policy was established our insurance agent sent a copy of our policy directly to the leasing office. But still we had to produce a copy of our dec page for them. Our worst experience came when we were forced to leave our trash outside the compactor due to it being jammed/overfilled as usual (as mentioned before in a previous entry, there is only 1 trash recepticle for this entire complex). The trash was left about 7:30 am on our way to work and when we arrived home we were greeted with a note stating we had been fined $100 dollars for leaving 2 bags of trash outside the compactor. We of course contacted the leasing office and told them the reason behind our having to leave the trash outside the compactor and we were promptly told it was our responsiblity as the tenant to contact the company listed on the side of the compactor with this problem. In the meantime I guess we were supposed to ride around with the trash festering in our car. Needless to say we were not forgiven the fine and had to pay it and had to suffer many stinky days of leaving our trash in the apartment because of their ongoing problems of overfilling/jamming the compactor. By the way, you may be asking how did they know the trash belonged to us? Well, instead of fixing the compactor and tossing the said trash in, they had their maintenance team go through the abandoned trash and identify the "owners" of the trash and promptly fined each identified individual. This is what I was told by management. Sounds illegal doesn't it? Funny how they never mentioned this at the time we signed the lease.
